French Senate set to debate security bill on publication of police images

A controversial security bill, which aims to restrict the sharing of images on the internet featuring police officers, is set to be debated by the French Senate. Meanwhile, the French Interior Ministry revealed that attacks on officers have more than doubled over the past two decades, with more than 2,200 cases registered in January alone.
